    Access - First login

    • Getting started

      At first login, you will get a welcome popup, inviting you to take a quick tour. We strongly recommend having a quick look into the short introduction tour by clicking the button ‘Get started’. If you closed the pop-up, you can always recall this option by clicking the button ? in the upper right corner.

    • First login and login issues

      Each login is personal and is linked to your personal e-mail address. 

      First login is only possible via the invitation e-mail. This invitation e-mail will expire after 72 hours. In case your first login invitation has expired, you can request your technical contact (with the Administrator role) within your company to resend this invitation e-mail to your personal e-mail address. This invitation e-mail has already been sent to all known contacts within your company. Didn’t receive the invitation e-mail yet? Make sure you also check your spam folder.

    • I need to resend the invitation e-mail

      Only users having the Administrator role can resend the invitation e-mail. 

      1. Go to User management and select the user to which the invitation e-mail needs to be resent. The User details screen will open. 

      2. In the Invitation section, click Resend invitation. A new invitation e-mail is sent to the selected user.

    Installation

    • Where can I find the SCALAR app in Android PlayStore / IOS App Store?

      There is no specific app needs to be installed. SCALAR is a web-based multi-platform user interface.

      Just go to https://app.zf-scalar.com and connect.

    Assets

    • Why can’t I enable RDD on an asset?

      Note: this functionality is subject to user permissions. Only an administrator can access the Admin module.


      The option "Tachograph is RDD enabled" in Admin > Assets is only activated after the company card setup is completed.

      Before you can select ‘Tachograph is RDD enabled’
      1. The Digital tacho version must be selected (old or new protocol).
      2. A correct VIN must be entered to enable RDD.


      This option is not available for asset type Trailer. 

    • Where can I find the toll costs?

      This feature is currently under construction.
      Once released, the estimated toll costs will be visible via the Route planner module.

    • Where can I find the current mileage of my asset?
      1. Open the Home app by clicking Home in the module selection menu at the top. The Home module is displayed.
      2. Select Map in the left navigation pane. The Map module is displayed.
      3. Select the desired asset. A new detail pane appears on the map.
      4. You can find the current mileage in the first tab. See also Asset details
