ZF SCALAR Passenger transport is a SaaS platform for on-demand transit for public transport and corporate mobility. It enables you to optimize routes, implement sustainable fleet management and provide on-time services that travelers can rely on every day.
The ZF SCALAR platform offers you a full-service, online command center that empowers you to manage and monitor every aspect of daily operations, including service setting, planning, automatic matching, live monitoring and traveler management. It can collect on-demand bookings via the SCALAR Traveler App or via 3rd party applications and can send missions to the drivers via the SCALAR Driver App.

Once your organization has signed a contract to use SCALAR, you receive an admin account and are good to go and set up your organization, provide access to your colleagues and register your assets.

For now, the services will be created and configured by the customer success team. At a later stage, the transportation services can be created and configured the administrator. Until then, our customer success team will support you in the creation of your service.

You can now plan your operations to make sure reach the right fleet capacity adapted to the demand you are expecting. Setting the vehicle shifts for specific periods.

The service is up and running, any new booking request is automatically matched and dispatched to the right vehicle respecting the dispatching settings. SCALAR web application provides live information about how the service is performing and allows you to take measures to cope with incidents happening on the field.

– Travelers can now download the Traveler App, create an account, enter their payment details, create a booking, and receive live updates on their estimated pickup and drop-off times.
The driver has logged into the Driver App at the start of his shift. He is now available for service and can receive a new mission assigned to his vehicle.
The driver can use the live navigation in the Driver App to follow the best route to get on time for his mission to pickup this new traveler.
