SCALAR Datacoins introduce a simple and scalable consumption model that allows customers to track and control their data usage. Each API call or data transaction within the SCALAR platform is assigned a predefined coin value, ensuring transparency in cost allocation. Users can visualize their usage through an interactive dashboard, offering insights into their spending patterns and forecasting potential future consumption needs.
Overview #
The Overview page offers an interactive dashboard for real-time data consumption tracking.
The Overview page includes the following sections:
- Legends that contain data aggregation and summarization based on metrics, such as total coins, coins consumed, available coins, API coins usage, subscription coins usage, and total exceeded coins .
- Graphical representation of coin usage (based on API and subscriptions).
- List of API / Subscription coin usage per integrator.
In the Datahub Portal module > click Overview 
. The Overview page is displayed.
Duration
By default, coin usage details are displayed for the current month. Use the selector in the upper right corner to change the month. The displayed data is updated accordingly.
Hover the mouse cursor over the graph to view the usage per day.
Settings #
The company administrator can configure a data coin threshold limit (in %) and enable a email notification.
In case the threshold is exceeded the Exceeded coins will be updated in the Overview graph, and, if enabled, an email is sent to notify the administrator.
